Simple Steps Towards Autonomy

Our goal at Autonomy is to provide the simplest interface for our medical providers so they can focus on what is important: the patient encounter.
This product introduction is intended to show you just how easy it is to make a digital medical record part of your practice. After you sign up, we will work with you to import your current patient information into our system. We can also design a custom progress note, or any other type of paper form, to suit your needs.
Once this initial setup is complete, you are ready to go.
  1. Using your patient data, print out progress notes and other forms before your visit, and take these prefilled forms with you into the visitation room. Of course, you also have the option of using a blank form and filling it out as you go. Use the digital pen to record your visit notes; it will store your handwriting in memory.
  2. At the end of the day, take your pen to a computer with internet access and use the pen dock to upload your data to our web portal. After a short processing period, your forms will be ready to review on the website.
  3. You can review and update your medical records from any internet connected computer. You will also get a permanent digital image of the form with your handwriting for record keeping purposes.
  4. Use the web portal to send billing information directly to your billing partner. The billing information is taken directly from your encounter notes.
