What do I need to get started?
All you need is a windows based computer with internet access. We will supply you with the digital pen and a laser printer.I see multiple patients in multiple facilities...will your system help me track my patients in different practice environments?
Absolutely. With our system you can print a neat stack of progress notes with patient information already pre-filled and simply add the required updated information during your rounds at different locations.Do I need to buy special paper?
No. You use normal paper to print out our forms via the Autonomy Web Portal and off you go to see your patients!What happens as I fill out my progress notes, or other medical forms with the Autonomy System?
The Autonomy Digital Pen is hard at work for you as you write recording your pen strokes on the form system. The pen has recorded a copy of your pen strokes for later retrievel. Once you dock The Autonomy Digital Pen to your computer the data is uploaded to our system and you can view your completed forms.Do I still need to fill out billing logs with your system?
No, with our system the data you wrote on your progress note can be used to note your visit and the level of treatment so that you can be properly reimbursed by your billing provider.- Will the pen "run out of juice"
before I finish making my rounds?
If you dock your pen daily or even every few days it is highly unlikely the pen will run out of either memory or battery life. Unless you plan on seeing several hundred patients a day, a single pen should be enough to keep you busy!
